Prayer for the Parish
Every now and then, someone will tell me that they have been praying for me. And each time, it kind of blows me away … that that person would actually be praying for me.
That just blows me away.
There are many people in this parish who pray for others all the time. Some people we know. Some people we do not know. We pray for others … for you … because Jesus is praying for you too. Jesus has a desire to see people’s lives changed and so do we. So we pray.
Now, I know what you’re thinking:
I don’t know if there’s a single soul praying for me. Maybe … but I doubt it!
Am I right?
Well I can guarantee you that there’s at least one person praying for you – in fact, He’s praying for you … right … now!!
Does that blow you away?
Since Jesus is doing that for each person, we try to as well. Each Thursday at 9:30am the Rev. Ian Martin prays for those in the parish that we know, and for those whom we do not. You are welcome to come anytime for quiet, informal time of prayer and reflection.
